THE HENNEPIN COUNTY SHERIFF FOUNDATION

The Hennepin County Sheriff Foundation is an independent, nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to strengthening public safety through youth-based activity programs, prevention, intervention, education, outreach, and 21st century crime-fighting tools and programs.

The Foundation provides grants to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office to fund new or existing programs with the goal of facilitating innovative solutions to the increasingly complex and underfunded problems confronted by law enforcement.

Check out our Volunteer Units to see how the foundation helps these dedicated volunteers by providing the tools and training they need. You can also see the foundation’s community activities.
